Debbie Russell

Cofounder and President of Encore, Debbie Russell is widely known as a visionary and a trend-setter in the design industry. Since 1990, when she and Barry began their first venture in ceramics, Debbie has been central to the elevation of tile from a “surface” to a “design statement.” Adamant about the preservation of time-honored artisanship, while advancing the art form, Debbie sees hand-crafted tile as a thing of beauty, history, and passion. Bold choices, ambitious expectations, and a great eye steer Debbie’s trail blazing design endeavors. From the gorgeous opalescent quality of our crackle glazes to the commanding grandeur of our columns, you’ll see Debbie’s vision throughout all of our collections.

Barry Russell

As Cofounder and CEO, Barry Russell is the driving force behind Encore’s environmental vision and company practices. Self taught, his engineering mind has vaulted Encore to the front of the green manufacturing revolution. His 15 years of experience in ceramics enabled him to pioneer several new processes for the industry, and educate others on environmental issues. He is passionate about the planet, and the safety of his employees and community. We wish more CEOs were like him.

Linda Kennedy

As our National Sales Manager, Linda brings new meaning to the phrase “it’s all about the customer.” She works closely with our distributors and their clients, supporting them in the challenges and successes of creating beautiful home environments. A great listener and problem solver, Linda draws upon her 12 years of experience in tile to be Encore’s voice. We rely on her commitment to our gorgeous product, but it’s her joy of connecting with people that we couldn’t do without.
